Ms. Cao has always had a passion for life sciences. She studied Physiological Sciences and Chemistry in college and, during her 15-year career at an IP boutique law firm in Scottsdale, Arizona, she specialized in preparing and prosecuting patent applications relating to: sporting goods; exercise equipment, methods of exercise, medical devices, physical therapy devices, chemical compositions, electrochemical devices, biochemical processes, geology, atmospheric chemistry, consumer goods and design. Subsequently, she also served as Intellectual Property Counsel for a biotechnology research and development company in Gilbert, Arizona that specializes in agriculture products. Her passion for health and wellness are also reflected in her personal life, as she strives to maintain an active lifestyle. Although she is by no means a professional cyclist, snowboarder, golfer, runner, or triathlete, she loves these activities just the same.
